The main performers of the show, organized by the dance studio “Ich bin O.K.”, were children with various illnesses. This project is therefore of great importance for their social integration. One of the project’s partners, Ms. Agnes Husslein-Arco (Director of the Heidi Horten Collection), described it as follows:
“With this project, the Heidi Horten Collection and “Ich bin O.K.” highlight the power of art to build bridges and bring people together across all boundaries. It is a strong symbol of lived inclusion and a shared path toward an open, diverse society.”
Ljudmila Konovalova played the leading role in the scene Intermezzo Dream, while Arina and Dina Mironskaya appeared together with the children from the “Ich bin O.K.” studio in the scene Silent Film. Accompanied by music and dance, they told a story set on the high seas. Especially noteworthy were the many unique and creatively intertwined ideas, which were harmoniously combined with a wide range of musical styles – from classical Strauss pieces to modern compositions by Linkin Park.
The event attracted numerous well-known politicians, businesspeople, artists, and actors. One of the highlights was the presence of world-renowned opera singer Anna Netrebko, who came to support her colleague from the Vienna Opera and Ballet Theatre. After the performance, Netrebko also had a warm conversation with Arina and Dina Mironskaya and other participants. These personal moments of direct interaction will remain unforgettable for the children and contribute positively to their social development.
All proceeds from the event will go toward the rehabilitation of ill children and other charitable causes.
